I'm mostly a spinner...but I DO also love to knit. It's always extra fun to work with my yarn to create one of a kind handknitted goods.
This is a fun scarf I made from many of my skeins if handspun yarn. This is 100% natural fibers, all locally produced from small family farms - including my very own angora bunnies :) There are no synthetic colors of dyes used - just a wide variety of natural dyes such as indigo, madder root, black walnut and copper. Plus, loads if natural colors of wool and alpaca! The result is a lovely harmony of varying natural colors and textures. I really love it!
Fibers include wool, alpaca, angora and mohair. The scarf is 5 ft long, including its generous fringe! Guaranteed a conversation piece! Truly a one of a kind organic work of wearable useable fiber art.
I keep all my yarns and finished goods in my herb store - so they DO smell of herbs. Most people find this pleasant, but if you are not a fan of natural herbal smells, please consider yourself warned!
SHIPPING! I did my best to make shipping affordable, and put in the weight and dimensions for every listing so etsy can calculate the best shipping rate for you - but the problem is, it doesn't work well. :/ The shipping seems to be accurate for one or two skeins, but more than that and it can be high. I will also refund you if there are shipping overcharges! So do not fret. Feel free to convo me if you need more exact information before you purchase, but I WILL always check and refund you any excess if needed.
Payment due upon receipt. I accept paypal, dwolla (convo me) and credit cards.
We ship via USPS Priority mail in the US, and USPS First class mail overseas. I'm always glad to ship anywhere in the world! Most packages shipped with in 1-3 business days of purchase.
We do accept refunds if you find the item unacceptable, but you must be in touch immediately after it's arrival, and you must pay to send the item back before receiving a refund on the item cost.
